Graveside services for Mrs. Tarter will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at the Fluvanna Cemetery with Steve Highfield officiating. The service will be under the direction of Miller Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 P.M. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
Born on Dec. 8, 1945 in Scurry County to Arvill and Louella Cox. She married Billy Tarter on Aug. 2, 1963 in Snyder. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include on daughter, Lea Tarter of Snyder, and one grandson, Johnathon Tarter of Snyder.
She had 3 brothers and 3 sisters living.
