Vincent Stallone, Jr., 85, of Climer Circle died Friday, January 26, 2018, at St. Peter's Hospital.

Born in Herkimer, NY, he was son of the late Vincent and Jennie Falzarano Stallone and loving husband for 57 years of Joan (nee Bevelander) Stallone. He was a graduate of the Owen D. Young Central School in Van Hornesville, NY and the University of Delaware.

Mr. Stallone was employed as Director of Fiscal Management for several New York State departments, including the Department of Health, Department of Labor and Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army Medical Corps and served as detachment commander for 364th General Hospital Army Reserve Unit in Albany.

He was a member of the Brunswick Church and a volunteer with its food pantry and resource management team. He enjoyed visiting his children and spending time with his grandchildren and playing cards with friends.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Lynn Stallone, Newark, DE; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carole and Gary Harwood, Kent, OH and Nancy and Edward Rinehart, Rochester, NH; his grandchildren, Mark Stallone and Natalie and Daniel Rinehart; a sister, Angeline Gorman, Marcy, NY and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Orie Stallone and four sisters, Mary Masselli, Jessica Stallone, Virginia Allen and Helen Wood.

Military Honors and cemetery service will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
