Miss Elizabeth Barnard, an old and respected lady, died at the residence of her brother, ex-sheriff Fuller Barnard, Westernport, Nov. 26, 1904 aged 63 years, 5 months and 21 days. The deceased was born and raised in and about Frostburg and was a very devoted and charitable member of the Methodist Episcopal church, South. She is survived by two brothers, Messrs John D. of Moscow and ex-Sheriff Fuller Barnard, and one sister Miss Susan Barnard both of Westernport. Services were held at the residence one day after which the remains were taken to Frostburg and interred in the old Barnard burying lot in Allegany cemetery. Those who acted as pallbearers were Messrs Charley, Frank, George, John, Fuller, (N)otley, Joshua and Duke Barnard.
