SUPPLY -- Houston Victor “Blue” Crumpler Sr., 70, of Boonesneck Road S.W., formerly of Clinton, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, in his home.
Mr. Crumpler was a self-employed oyster wholesaler. He was a member of Shallotte Moose Lodge 710.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sharon United Methodist Church by the Rev. Eddie Hill. Arrangements are being handled by Brunswick Funeral Service of Shallotte.
Mr. Crumpler is survived by his wife, Eva D. Crumpler of the home; a son, Houston V. Crumpler Jr. of Clairmont; three daughters, Cyndi Crumpler of the home, Frankie ”Sue“ Drum of Hiddenite and Kay Crumpler of Taylorsville; a sister, Jeannette Rothermel of Clinton; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
