Daisy Sarah Jackson, 100, of 94 W. Water St., Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, June 17, 2004, at her home.

The funeral will be held on Monday, June 21, at 11 a.m., at Grace Presbyterian Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Jack Harle will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Daisy was born on May 20, 1904, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Frederick E. and Nellie (Louden) Bird. She was married to Virgil Jackson on May 21, 1942, in Madison.

Daisy graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1924. She was a bookkeeper at Clover Blossom Dairy in Beaver Dam. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Beaver Dam. She was also curator of the Beaver Dam Historical Society-Museum.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Helen Herlache, Fred W. Bird, Sr., Barbara Westra, Diane Casey and Dayle Weber; great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil; one brother, Erwin Bird; two sisters, Elda Bruder and Dorothy Weber; one sister-in-law, Helen Bird, and two brothers-in-law, Roland Bruder and Clarence Weber.

Friends may call on Monday, June 21, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Grace Presbyterian Church, Beaver Dam. Memorials are appreciated to Grace Presbyterian Church, Beaver Dam, or to the charity of the donor's choice.

The family of Daisy S. Jackson would like to express a special thank you to the hospice nurses: Kelly, Linda, Joyce and Phyllis for their wonderful care of Daisy.
