Pauline Jacobs "Polly" Moyd - a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Fairhope, AL, died Friday, January 26, 2018.

Polly was raised at St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Mobile, and a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Parish in Fairhope, AL. She was a member of the Lebanese-American Club, a ladies mystic society, and NARFE. She retired from Brookley Air Force Base and owned and operated a restaurant in Downtown Mobile for a number of years.

Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin D. "Curley" Moyd; her parents, John Habeeb and Delia Gazelle Jacobs; two brothers, George Jacobs and Jake Jacobs; and three sisters, Josephine Arata, Mabel LeClair, and Badia Jacobs.

Survivors include one niece, Mary A. Lilley; many in-laws, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and close friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 11:30 A.M. until the 1 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Parish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Mary's Home or a charity of your choice. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Arrangements by Ascension Funerals & Cremations, 1016 Hillcrest Road, Mobile, Alabama 36695.
