John Vince McCain, 89, of Sharpe Community of Marshall County, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Baptist Health-Madisonville.
John was born in Marshall County, KY on February 18, 1928 and graduated from Sharpe High School. He served in the United States Army. John had a passion for farming, which was his lifelong occupation. He was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church.
John was a selfless, loving and caring man. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Renee’ McCain of Benton, KY. and his beloved dog, Nacho.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Willie Belle Barefield McCain; one brother, Owen McCain; and his parents, Jesse A. McCain and Ruth Bailey Cornwell.
Graveside services were held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Oakland Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Marshall County and were officiated by Revs. Gregory Waldrop and Kim Morrison.
Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah was in charge of arrangements.
