She was born Dec. 13, 1919, in Woodside, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Adolph and Alma Butz Drager. Mina was a life member of Yardley-Makefield Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in PA for 60 plus years. She was a retired billing clerk with Proctor & Gamble in W. Trenton, N.J., and was a regular attender at Stony Point United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Albertus Willem Vander Meer whom she married on October 5, 1940; a sister, Elsie McDonald; and four brothers, Frank Drager, Clarence Drager, William Drager and Robert Drager.
She is survived by three daughters, Joanne Campbell (Ken), Wilhelmina Henning (Stephen), and Nancy James (Lyle); four grandchildren, Dennis Campbell, Kevin Campbell, Tracy Bowman, and Kristin Johnson; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alma Elco.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Stony Point United Methodist Church, Stony Point, N.C.
Memorial service celebrating Minas life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Donnie Durham officiating.
The family requests no flowers due to allergies and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stony Point United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 120, Stony Point, NC 28678-0120.
