He was smart, funny and kind and could fix anything for anyone. He loved watching his children grow up, spending time at the farm and riding his motorcycles.
He worked as a neighborhood inspector for the City of Des Moines. Prior to that he worked for many years as an Ironworker.
He is survived by children, Jake (Danielle) Anctil, Luke Anctil, Abby Anctil, Ben Anctil and their mother, Dawn Vodraska-Reeves; children, Bella and Loralei Seely and their mother, Jodi Seely; parents, David and Mary Anctil; siblings, Jim (Robin) Anctil, Diane (Stuart) Rauh; sister-in-law, Tracy Anctil. He was preceded in death by brother, Paul Anctil.
