Ruby Martin, 90, Owensville, died March 18, 2001, in Owensville. She was born July 3, 1910, in Ulman, a daughter of Eli and Susie Forrester Abbott. She was married March 3, 1929, in Tuscumbia, to Ralph Martin, who died Aug. 25, 1971. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist
Church of Tuscumbia.
Survivors include: two sons, Melford Martin, Owensville, and Ken Martin, Tuscumbia; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. One daughter Juanita Hunter, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia. The Rev. Don Bilbary will officiate. Burial will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Phillps Funeral Home, Eldon. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia.
