John F. Fallon of Castile, formerly of LeRoy, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016, at Benincasa Hospice in Mendon. Mr. Fallon served our country honorably as a member of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired New York State Correction Officer.

He was the son of the late Martin and Lydia (Merville) Fallon and was predeceased by his loving wife Grace Hoyt Fallon. He is survived by his seven children, Ann Fallon Bradley of Henrietta, John (Kathy) Fallon of Palm Bay, Florida, Mary Passage of LeRoy, Martin Fallon of Castile, Kathleen Kelly (Lee) Harrell of Sarasota, Florida, Jennifer (Frank) White of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Laura (Norman) Kibler Jr. of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and his sister Ruth (Connie) Roblee of Dover, Delaware, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 27 Lake St., Leroy, New York 14482, at 5:30 pm Sunday, July 17, 2016. It will be followed by a gathering of family and friends at the LeRoy Country Club. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Leroy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Benincasa Hospice, 3880 Rush-Mendon Rd, Mendon New York, 14506
