Nickname: Guy and Wilma were married 65 years Jan. 2014. Wilma said her Uncle Art (James Arthur Burks) came by one day and she had a dirty face. Art Burks was their next door neighbor and twin brother of her dad, John Luther Burks. He dropped by a few days later and little had changed with this dirty faced tomboy (Wilma's words, not mine). Art said she looked a little crusty. He started calling her Crusty and so did the rest of the family. Wilma said if somebody started talking about Wilma Burks, nobody would know who they were talking about. Crusty had gotten ill as a young woman and her and Guy never had children. In 2009 I stopped by their farm/horse ranch and visited most of the day. A day I shall never forget. Last visit was Sept. 2014.
