Jimmie Lee Perryman II, 57, of Lubbock died Friday, March 23, 2007 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Burial will be in Peaceful Garden Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.
He was born June 6, 1949 in Lubbock. He attended Dunbar High School. Before retiring he was employed for 31 years.
He is survived by his beloved grandmother, Mrs. Willie Johnson; his dearest Aunt Mrs. Evelyn Gooden of Lancaster, Texas; four sisters, Kathy Hines (Nathan), Iana Coleman of Lubbock, Gloria Wheeler (Michael) of Dallas, Diana Coleman of Ft. Worth; two sons, Danyal Cleveland and Larry Hambrick III; two daughters, Dorothy Taylor and Kim Perryman; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, sister, Gwendolyn Perryman; and brother, A.G. Perryman Jr. and Danny Perryman.
Visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
