Pall bearers, all grandsons of the deceased were Bill and Wayne Jensen, Both of Aberdeen, Richard Rossow, Stratford, Lambert mielke, Groton, Allan Hanson, Madison, Wis., and Ray Hintztman, Worthing. Ushers were Delwin Tullis and Marvin Gengerke.
Burial was in the Andover cemetery. Mrs. Keup died Wednesday morning at St. Luke’s hospital.
The Hubel Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Keup was born March 8, 1876, in Seneca county, Wis., where she grew to womanhood. She was married to Ernest Keup on March 3, 1899, at Shawano, Wis. They later came to the Andover area. Mr. Keup preceded her in death in 1927 and she moved to Groton in 1937 and made her home with a daughter. In 1957 she moved to Aberdeen, where she made her home with another daughter.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran church of Groton and was an honorary member of the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include four sons, Bruno of Mayville, Wis., William of Monrovia, Calif., Alfred of Portland, Ore., and Adolph of Jeffersonville, Ind., five daughters, Mrs. John (Lydia) Rossow, Mrs. Ada Lyle, and Mrs. Gust (Rosella) Jensen, all of Aberdeen, Mrs. Roy (Louise) Mielke, Groton and Mrs. Florence Hanson, Madison, Wis.,23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, one daughter and two sisters preceded her in death.
