George Hurdle
GASSAWAY - George Foster Hurdle, 77, of Gassaway, Braxton County, died Sunday at Charleston Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired auto mechanic and a veteran of World War I, a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church and the Masons.
Surviving: sons, Richard of Suffolk, Va., Vernon of Azle, Tex.; four grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p. m. Wednesday at Skidmore Funeral Home in Gassaway with the Rev. John Kyer officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
