Virginia Mae Giordano, 85, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, January 15, 2018. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, January 18, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where a Memorial Service will begin at 7 p.m. Virginia was cremated according to her wishes.

Virginia was born November 11, 1932, in Lakeport, CA. She worked for UMB for over 50 years before she retired. She enjoyed shopping for antiques, visiting the casinos, and doting on her grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Giordano; her parents, Fletcher and Hazel Blatt; brothers, Bob, Calvin and David Blatt; sister, Vivian West; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nick and Mary Giordano, Paul and Ann Giordano, Pete and Betty Giordano, Frances and Frank Cutrera, and Joe Giordano.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Sam Giordano, Toni Marie Giordano, Tony and Nevaline Giordano; grandchildren, Maria and Carl Belgiere, John Paul and Carlynn Giordano, Anna Giordano, Daniel Giordano, Alexa Giordano; great-grandchildren, Joey Belgiere, Mila Barnett-Giordano, Mathis Giordano; brothers and sister-in-law, Garry and Helen Blatt, Dale Blatt; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Marie and Carl Saitta, Audrey Giordano; and many nieces and nephews.
