Marilyn Ann Saule was born on February 23, 1960 in Marshfield, WI, the daughter of Anthony "Tony" and Mary Ann M. (Kornesczuk) Saule. She was raised on the family farm in Willard, and received her education in Greenwood, graduating from Greenwood High School in 1979. After high school, Marilyn moved to Eau Claire, where she attended District One Technical Institute and completed a program in Quantity Foods. While in Eau Claire, she worked for a few years milking cows on a farm owned by John Menard. In 1990, she moved back home to help her mother on the family farm after the death of her father. Marilyn also worked seasonally at Figi's and drove the Amish community for many years. She was united in marriage to Michael E. Ruppelt on July 11, 2015 in Greenwood. He died on July 8, 2017.
Marilyn had a great love for animals, especially her rabbits, goats and chickens. When she was younger, she was active in 4-H and enjoyed showing animals at the local fairs.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Anton T. Saule (fiance Amanda Statz) of Neillsville, Ann M. Saule of Eau Claire, Amy E. Saule of Neillsville; her brother: Eugene (Jody) Saule of Willard; three nieces: Amanda and Robbin Saule, Sabrina Severson; four nephews: Nathan (Jenny) Saule, Tylor Fox, Zachary and Xavier Severson; other relatives and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Michael.
