Inscription

Johann Michael Moegelin, wife Henriette and their five children emigrated from Landsberg, East Prussia (now Gorzow Wielpolski, Poland) to Comal County, Texas in the early 1850's. He purchased land in 1856 near Remmler's Crossing, and apparently the family moved there for a few years. In 1863, he purchased a 160-acre tract on which this cemetery now lies. His exact birth and death dates are not known, but died before 1883.
