Ramy worked for 39 years at Nelson International before retiring in 1998.

Ramy married Rosemary Schumacher on January 23, 1982, in Bismarck. They continued to live in Bismarck and were blessed with 36 years of marriage. They united their two families as one and Ramy and Rose loved all their families deeply. Ramy had a lifelong appreciation for music and singing.
