Stanley honorably served in the Maine Army National Guard. He worked 16 years at CHDC in Conway before retiring. He attended church at the House of Prayer in Springhill. He enjoyed fishing and was a Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved antique cars.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Phyllis Valley; son, Bruce Valley (Lisa); two daughters, Annette Thompson (Tony) and Lisa Shelton (Hans); three brothers, Carroll Valley, Garrie Valley (Laurie), and David Valley (Patricia); three sisters, Esther Albansky (Stanley), Edie Hutchinson (Herb), and Paula Page (Robert); eleven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the House of Prayer in Springhill with funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment at East Shady Grove Cemetery in Greenbrier.
