Albert served in the U.S. Navy as a PHM 2 during WWII. He passed at the age of 81 years.
1930 Census: Father - Alex Deritis (43) born in Italy in 1887; Mother - Mary Deritis (37) born in Italy in 1893;
Brothers and sisters as follows: Dominick Deritis (16); Florence Deritis (14); James Deritis (13); Sammul Deritis (12); Albert of this memorial page (8); Annie Deritis (9); Julia Deteris (6); John Deritis (4); Marie Deritis (2).

Two other children died :Lawrence Deritz - Deritis(Oct. 9, 1911 -Feb.22,1912) Death Certi # 13980 - cause - Brocho Pneumonia burial - Italian Cemetary and Julia Deritis ( Dec 16,1924 - Apr. 24,1940) 16 years 4 mo., 23 days. Death Certi. # 41382. Cause of Death - Chorea Insoniem(not sure of spelling) no cemetary listed only Funeral director - Joseph Moran.
