Reta E. Anderson, age 97, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Hope, Arkansas. She was born July 11, 1920 to Nova James and Eva Lewis Ross in Hempstead County, Arkansas.

She retired after many years of serving as a beautician at Lois’ Beauty Shop in Hope. Reta was also a member of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church.

Reta is preceded in death by her husband T.G. “Chubby” Anderson; her parents; four sisters, Ruth Kidd, Margaret Windle, Cozette Foster, Ruby Ross; one brother, Wilburn Ross.

She is survived by one daughter, Cherry and husband David Stewart of Hope; one brother-in-law, Kelson Foster of Camden, one grandson, Dr. Jason G. Stewart and Robyn of North Little Rock; three great grandchildren, Bailey Stewart, Whitney Stewart, Mallory Stewart and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1:00pm Friday, January 19, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of Hope. Church Service will follow at 2:00pm and interment in Anderson Cemetery in the Spring Hill Community with Bro. Cliff Johnson and Rev. Kathleen Hignight officiating
