She died at the old Tyler Memorial Hospital in Meshoppen, PA. Helen lived on Maple Avenue in Tunkhannock where she served as the Tunkhannock Borough Tax Collector for many years.
Helen was at one time married to Thomas Ellis Monsey and she had sons Thomas Monsey of Tunkhannock, who owned Greenwood's Furniture Store for many years and a son, Joseph Monsey who lived in Montoursville, PA at the time of his mother's death. She also had an adopted daughter, Sue Jennings Monsey.
Helen's brother was James Walter Ace, a very successful business man of Tunkhannock. A Sister, Mrs. Ralph Sherwood (the former Bessie Ace) died on 26 Jan 1964, another sister, Mary Ace Walters (1898-1979) was living in Vestal, NT when Helen died.
