James V. Maugeri, on January 9, 2018, of Stratford, born in S. Phila., PA. Age 95.

Beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Lemmo). Devoted father of Carl (Kathleen), James (Robbie), and Joseph (Brigid). Loving grandfather of Christopher (Miki) and David Mauger (Elyse), Jennifer, Laura (Michael), Kate (Michael Stefanko), Caroline and Stephen Maugeri and great grandfather of Lexi, Sofia, and Nadia. Dear brother of the late Peter, Nancy, and Pasquale. Uncle of Vera Maugeri, Ann Ligato, and Paulette Wood (Paul) and cousin of Nancy Fargione.

James served in the South Pacific during WWII with the Army Air Corp. He worked as an Electronic Draftsman and volunteered for Boy Scout Troop 189. James loved spending time with his family, gardening, and traveling. He was very artistic and was known as a handyman. James loved his annual 4th of July birthday picnics.

There will be a viewing from 9am to 11am Saturday morning at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Luke’s RC Church, Stratford.

There will be a Funeral Mass at 11am at the Church.
