Brad Allen Copeland, 56, a life-long resident of St. Tammany parish, Louisiana, died unexpectedly after a brief illness on Thursday December 28, 2017.
Brad was born on November 13, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Gilbert E. Copeland, Sr. and Catherine Wells Copeland Goldman. Brad is survived by his brother, Gilbert E. Copeland, Jr., two stepbrothers, Austin W. Copeland and Wade A. Copeland and his stepmother, Laura B. Copeland (Gilbert E. Copeland, Sr.)
He is preceded in death by parents, Catherine Wells Copeland Goldman and Gilbert E. Copeland, Sr.; his paternal grandparents William Allen Copeland, Jr. and Augusta Marie Comeaux and maternal grandparents Chester Cleveland Wells and Ona Gates Wells; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brad worked in the bakery business all of his life and for the past 12 years in Slidell, where he was highly regarded. He formed wonderful friendships with his employer, co-workers and customers, even to the extent that he considered them his second family. Brad’s generous and loyal spirit and his love for family and friends will greatly be missed by all.
Interment following in Metairie Cemetery.
