Jackie L. McLemore, 66, of 7345 Black's Bluff Road, Cave Spring, died Saturday evening in a Rome hospital following a sudden attack suffered earlier at his residence. A native of Rossville, Ga., he was born there Feb. 3, 1938, the son of the late Robert and Myrtle Hollingsworth McLemore. He was a retired supervisor with the Kayo Oil Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy Fleming; two sons, Rickey and Paul McLemore, both of Cave Spring; two brothers, two grandsons and two great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life was held Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. at the graveside of the Cave Spring Cemetery. John House's Cave Spring Chapel Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
