Helen F. Hallett, 56, 815 N. Park St., Seymour, died at 8:10 am, Thursday, June 16, at the Jackson County Hospital. She had been ill for two months.
She worded as a housewife. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour; Seymour VFW Auxiliary and Tops of Seymour.
A lifelong resident of Jackson Cty., she was born 2/22/1932, at Medora, to the late Alanzo M and Myrtle Williams Greathouse. On July 9, 1955, she married Murland M. Hallett in Seymour, and he survives.
Other survivors include three children: Thomas D East, Mrs Tom (Laveena) Rebber and Murland Matthew Hallett, all of Seymour; one brother Glen Greathouse, Brownstone; one sister, Jean Carr, Shelbyville; nine grandchildren, several aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by one sister, Hazel Cockerham.
Interment was in Riverview Cemetery
