He grew up in Healdton until he joined the Army in 1958. He married the love of his life, Margaret Ann, on 6/16/1967, in Healdton. They spent the next 12 years traveling and ministering while in the military. Benjamin retired from the Air Force in 1979. In 1979, they finally settled in Tuttle, where he became the pastor of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Much of his adult life, he was a full-time pastor with a full-time job. Benjamin retired from the FAA around 2006 and continued to pastor until he retired from ministry in 2008.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Margaret. He is survived by his 3 sons, Timothy & wife Jacqueline of Yukon, John of Ada, and Carey of Tuttle, and 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Kole, and Grayce. Services will be 1pm, Wednesday, 1/17/2018, at Tuttle First Assembly of God Church.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
