Mrs. Burrell was born August 15, 1922 in Anderson, to the late Charles W. Kay and Maud Davenport Kay. She loved to crochet and sew, and also played the organ and guitar. She was a member of the Church of God.
Surviving are a son, Ed Burrell and wife Shirley; two daughters, Jackie Teal, and Paulette Willimon and husband Joe; a brother, Rev. Tommy S. Kay; nine grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Rev. Charlie Kay and James Kay; a sister, Madeline Kay; and a son-in-law, James Teal.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Tommy Kay and Rev. Duree Propes. Burial will be in Graceland East Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Ed and Shirley Burrell, 445 Griffin Road in Greenville.
