Sandra Jean Webb, 69, of Valdosta, died on Friday, January 12, 2018, at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, on October 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Jenious C. Cofield and Elizabeth Fuller Cofield. Mrs. Webb received a Masters in Special Education from Valdosta State University and had taught in both the Lowndes County and Brooks County School Systems. An avid reader, she loved to travel, enjoyed social media, and perusing the internet, shopping, and dining out on lunch and dinner dates with her girlfriends. She enjoyed time spent with her very special great nieces and helping with the music at Southland Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Kenneth Webb. Services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Frank Gupton will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
