MaryAnn Tannehill, 85 of Morristown, passed away to her Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 12, 2017. MaryAnn was a longtime resident of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, where she lived from 1967 to 2015. Maryann was born in Mt. Vernon, Ilinois in 1932 and originally moved to Gatlinburg in 1951, and then permanently moved to the Smoky Mountains in 1967. She was a member of Smoky Mountain Christian Church of Sevierville. She was a loving Mother and caring friend.
She is survived by her son, Pete and his wife, Jennifer of Morristown.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
As requested, her body will be donated to the University of Tennessee for medical and forensic research.
