Matthew Arrington,9,of rural Neelyville died at 5:45am Sunday March 25, in Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis. He had been ill since birth.
He was born June 3, 1980, at Poplar Bluff, and was in the third grade. Matthew attended the of Prayer at Corning and was baptized three weeks ago on March 7.
He was the son of Gayland and Linda Arrington of Neelyville. They survive along with two sisters, Lynn Arrington and Amy Arrington, both of Neelyville; grandparents, Neil and Wanda Flurry, Velma Arrington, all of Neelyville; and great-grandparents, Connie Welch of Marshall and Elizabeth Flurry of Neelyville.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Parrent Funeral Home at Naylor, where services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Roberts Cemetery. The Revs. Jimmy McMasters and James Nochta will conduct services.
