Obituary from Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Shreveport LA:

Funeral services for Alice Faye Carpenter Ezernack, 71, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Brother Ron of Mission Point Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.

Alice was born June 9, 1946 in Minden, LA to Alon and Ella Carpenter and passed away on January 6, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Salvation Army.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lee Wayne Carpenter, Sr.; grandchildren, Lee Wayne Carpenter, Alon Overstreet, and James Duncan; sister, Barbara E. Ezernack; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Alice as pallbearers are William Hughes, Calvin Ezernack, Richard Laffitte, Bobby Ezernack, Lee Carpenter, Jr., and Cody Caddou.

The family would like to thank W.K. Pierremont ICU and Dr. Montreal Lynn for their care of Alice and her family.
