Kathleen A. Conklin, 60, of Menominee, MI passed away Monday January 8, 2018, at Atrium Acute Care. She was born March 19, 1957, in Menominee to the late Daniel and Betty (Jacobson) Homa and graduated from Menominee High School in 1975.


Kathy worked at Emerson Electric for many years until her illness. She enjoyed cross stitching, reading, volunteering at Central Elementary School, shopping, going to Porterfield Country Music Festival and trips with her daughter to concerts. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and had been a member of the North Country Kickers.


Kathy is survived by a son Jered Hubbard of Oklahoma City, Okla.;

a daughter, Nicole Conklin of Marinette, WI;

a sister, Nancy (Brian) Parr of Pembine, WI;

a brother, Jim Homa of Marinette, WI;

and many nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home, Menominee, on Saturday, January 13, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Amberg.
