Mr. Ralph Hamilton Dewater Jr. died Monday September 24, 1979 in Port Angeles at his home.
Funeral services for Ralph Hamilton Dewater, 27, of 335 West 3rd Street., will be at 11:00 a.m.
Friday. The services will be held at Ridgeview Funeral Chapel with burial in Mt. Angeles
Memorial Park to follow. Ralph was born June 12, 1952, at Hutchinson, Kansas., and came to
Port Angeles at the age of four. He was born to Joy Louise Peters and Ralph Hamilton Dewater Sr.
He attended Roosevelt Junior High School. Ralph married Cynthia Jill Pearson in Port Angeles
July 24, 1970. in Port Angeles. Mr. Dewater was employed with his step-father at Cedar & Cedar
Logging.
Survivors include his wife, son Shannon Russell and two daughters Debbie Lynn and Cheryl Victoria; his mother Mrs. Carl (Joy) Cedar; two brothers, Carl Dewater & Step brother, Carl Cedar and sister Tami Labadie all of Port Angeles. Also surviving are grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Jack Jones, Carl J Cedar, and Great Grandmother Mary Minka, all of Port Angeles and paternal grandmother Etta Dewater of Waterloo, Iowa.
Pallbearers will include Clyde Carpenter, Lloyd Trudeay, Mike Spurrier, Gary Blevins, Dave Murray, Butch Cedar.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
