HOUSTON — Albert Mauzy, 60, brother of Ann Lassman of Victoria, died Thursday in a Houston hospital after a short illness.
He was born March 20, 1923, in Houston to Harry and Mildred Kincaid Mauzy. He was a retired building supervisor for S.O. Eastern in Houston.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pat Foley Funeral Home, Bellaire. Burial will be at Forest Park West Cemetery in Houston.
Surviving, in addition to his sister, are his wife, Ruth of Houston; a daughter, Mrs Cheryl Hatcher of Georgia; a son, Albert J. Mauzy Jr. of Kingsville; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Burdick of Austin; four brothers, Harry and Fred Mauzy of Houston, Oscar Mauzy of Dallas and George Mauzy of Midland; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a brother.
