He was the husband of E. Jane (Gemmill) Attig. The couple celebrated their 33rd anniversary on February 25, 2017.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. Pastor Judy Bupp will be officiating at the service.
Burial will be in Yoe Union Cemetery.
Mr. Attig was born in York on December 6, 1945, the son of the late Glenn and Anna (Fox) Attig.
He retired from Shipley Energy in York.
Mr. Attig served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War.
Along with his wife Jane, Mr. Attig leaves two brothers, Donald and Edward Attig; a sister, Dorcas Ruppert; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Morene Attig.
