Patricia Ogden “Trish” deWilde, 83, of Quinton Twp. passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday January 5, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.

She was born in Bridgeton on September 30, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Chester M. and Florence Woodruff Ogden. She was predeceased by her husband, Roeland deWilde III in 1987.

A lifelong Bridgeton area resident, she graduated from Bridgeton High School with the class of 1952. She lived in Quinton Township for most of her life. She had been a resident of The Maurice House in Millville for the last year and a half.

Her husband, Roeland, operated deWilde’s Rhodo Lake Nursery until his death.

Mrs. deWilde worked for several years as a bank teller for the former United Jersey Bank (Cumberland National) in Bridgeton for several years.

She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeton. A longtime member of the choir, she was an Ordained Elder in the church and also served as a member of the Board of Deacons. In addition, she had been the director of the church’s junior choir and enjoyed going to the monthly TOTS (Time Out Tuesdays) luncheons.

Both she and her husband enjoyed playing golf and were members of the former Holly Hills Golf Club.

She is survived by her children, Roeland deWilde IV (Patricia), Cynthia Sherman (Bruce), both of Quinton; Scott Woodruff deWilde (Sherry) of Winter Haven, FL and Patricia “Dale” Fedora (David) of Quinton, 14 grandchildren, Erin, Jared, Brett, Kate, Chas, Desi, Brea, Deva, Max, Meagan, David Jr., Sarah, Jael and Jamin and 22 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Elisabeth “Ibby” Champion of Hopewell Twp., two brothers, Chester “Bing” Ogden (Marie) of Ventnor and Albert “Tony” Ogden (Ruth) of Ocean City and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Julia Tilton and Mary Louise Barbose.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the First Presbyterian Church, W. Commerce and Giles Streets in Bridgeton on Tuesday morning January 9th at 11 o’clock with Rev. John Nurnberger and Pastor Schuyler Schnell will officiate.

The burial will follow at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.

Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 11.
