Mr. Pagano was previously the owner and operator of Jo-May Jewelry Co., after which Mr. Pagano was an insurance agent employed at Independent Companies until his retirement. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Joe was an avid fisherman, enjoyed golf, was a New York Yankees Fan, and had a passion for cooking.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Joseph (Donna) Pagano and Lisa (Dennis) Bouchard. He was the stepfather of Terrie Duarte and Mike Pagano. Joseph was the cherished grandfather of Ryan and Evan Pagano. He was the brother of Ann Marie Gabriel and the late Richard M. and Mario Pagano. Mr. Pagano also leaves behind his beloved dog, Cocoa.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to gather inside the cemetery gates at 11:15 a.m.
