EMPORIAN'S FATHER DIES
News has been received of the death of Frank Peres of LeRoy, the father of Orvil Peres, 326 South Exchange St. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the United Methodist Church in LeRoy and burial will be in the cemetery in LeRoy. The Mattingly Funeral Home, LeRoy, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Peres, who died Monday in Braman, Okla., is survived by three sons, Wayne, of Braman; Warren, of Westphalia, and Orvil, of Emporia; three daughters, Mrs. Nelson (Retha) Farmer, Sand Springs, Okla., and Mrs. John (Wilda) Williams and Mrs. Wesley (Wilma) Williams, Jr., both of LeRoy; one brother, Fred, of Calamesa, Calif., 37 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
