Lubbock - Lorena Bell Listen, 96, passed away on Sunday, December 31st at home in Lubbock with her family. She was our beloved grandmother.
She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, Herman Drake of Harlingen, Texas, Richard Winstead of Seymour, Texas, and Phil Listen of Oklahoma City, OK. Her daughter, Andrea Ross Drake Mitchell and son-in-law, Woody Mitchell, both of Lubbock.
She is survived by grandchildren, Todd and Krista Mitchell of Lubbock, and their children Aubrie, Ainsleigh and Teige; Bret and Melanie Mitchell of Lubbock and their children, Connor, Baylor, Sydney and Ryder; and countless nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Lorena was born in Seymour, Texas on November 4, 1921 to William and Rhoda Breland. Through her life she resided in Seymour, Harlingen, Oklahoma City, Abilene and Lubbock.
Services for Lorena were held, Friday, 1PM on January 5, 2018 at Sanders Funeral Home. She was laid to rest at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview.
