The (Oil City, PA) DERRICK, Friday March 23, 2001AGNES I. SHREFFLER, 87, of Emlenton RD 1, did at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2001, in Clarview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at Sligo RD 1. Born December 6, 1913, in Okmulgee, OK, she was the daughter of Charles H. and Ida Mays Snively. Mrs. Shreffler was a member of the Nickleville Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, flowers, quilting, camping and bus tours. Mrs. Shreffler was married March 21, 1933, to Ray J. Shreffler, who died May 6, 1985. Surviving are seven daughters, Shirley King and her husband, Albert, Patricia Wenner and her husband, Gary, and Connie Weaver, all of Knox RD 1; Barbara Lynn and her husband, Dan, of Savannah, GA, Darlene Weaver of Knox, Carol Ann Beck and her husband, Arthur, of Knox RD 2; and Carolyn Joan Amsler and her husband, Edward, of Cranberry RD 1. Also surviving are four sons, Larry Shreffler and his wife, Dorothy, of Wilson, NC; Dick Shreffler and his wife, Diane, and Bill Shreffler, all of Emlenton RD 1; and Pete Shreffler and his wife, Bonnie, of Kossuth; 36 grandchildren; and 57 great grandchildren. She also is survived by two brothers, Charles Snively of Knox and Gene Snively of Austin, TX and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Shreffler was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jimmey Shreffler and Tommy Lynn; a great granddaughter, Whitney Painter; and two brothers, Lee Snively and Clyde Snively. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Sue Montgomery, pastor of the Nickleville Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Nickleville Cemetery.
