Jennie L. Dietzer, age 96, of Elwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at her residence.
Jennie was born on August 25, 1921 in Muncie to Ralph and Annora (Payne) Jackson. She was married to Clarence Harold Dietzer and he passed away in 1975. She was employed by several companies Monticello Manufacturing, Shepard Tool, and as a nurses aid with Visiting Nurse. Jennie enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Jennie is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Kenny) Anderson of Elwood, grandchildren; Sheryl (Jeff) Busby and Angel (Courtney) Anderson, great grandchildren; Casey (Dustin) Laub and Lucas Anderson, great great grandchildren; Kyler & Bentley Laub, nieces, Carrie Cox, Jennie Crull and Treva Duncan, several half brothers & sisters.
Jennie was preceded in death by her father; Ralph Jackson, Sr., mother; Annora Jackson, husband; Clarence Harold Dietzer, grandson; James Harold Dietzer, brother; Ralph Jackson, Jr., sisters, June Smith, Joan Smith and Jane Huffman.
Funeral service celebrating Jennie's life will be at 2:30 pm Friday, December 29, 2017 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Pastor Scott Blaylock officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
