MRS DANIEL H HUDSON

Mrs Daniel H Hudson died very suddenly Saturday morning at her home on Route 25 west of Mattituck, following an illness of a few hours. She was 63 years of age.

Formerly Miss Jessie C Brown, she was a native of Sullivan County NY, and was born on Feb 14, 1878. She taught school for a number of years before her marriage to Mr Hudson, who operated a farm at Northville for many years. She was a very active worker in the Mattituck Presbyterian Church and for some years had charge of the preparation of communion. She was also a member of the Missionary Society.

Surviving, beside her husband, are two children, Howard and Mary Catherine, and two brothers, Thomas and William Brown, who reside in Sullivan County.

Services were held on Monday afternoon at the Mattituck Church. The Rev Dr Percy E Radford, the pastor, officiated, assisted by the Rev Wells H Fitch, pastor of the Northville Congregational Church. Burial was in New Bethany Cemetery.
