Peggy Joyce Allen-Gray, 45, of 118 Parkside Garden, Ithaca, departed this life at Cayuga Medical Center Wednesday, August 18, 2004, after a long period of illness.
She was born in Auburn, NY, daughter of the late J. C. and Ruby Lee Jones Allen.
Survivors include her husband, Stanford L. Gray Jr.; sisters, Bertha Allen Harden of Ithaca, Emma Allen of Largo, Florida; brothers, Henry Allen, Jesse Allen, Ace Allen, all of Ithaca, Marvin Allen of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Peggy Allen-Gray is loved by everyone and will be truly missed.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Our Lord's Temple Church of God In Christ, 443 N. Tioga St., Ithaca. Rev. Calvin Christian will officiate. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Ithaca. The family will receive friends at The Lansing Funeral Home, Inc., 32 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY, on Friday, between the hours of 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
