Mr. Joe Lindsey Norsworthy was born on July 25, 1933, and passed peacefully Saturday March 26, 2016 after an extended illness. Lindsey grew up in Jackson, GA and resided in Ellijay at the time of his death.

He was a member of the Cherry Log Christian Church. Lindsey served his country in the Army and retired from a career as a postal worker.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Norsworthy, daughter, Sally Gardner, son, Steve Norsworthy, step-daughters, Rebecca Epperson and Libby Bicknell, step-son, Justyn Plath, grandchildren, Kristy, Steven, Kimberly and Jackie. 6 step grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

Two memorial services will be held in his honor one Saturday April 2nd at 11:00am from the Cherry Log Christian Church in Cherry Log, Ga and another at 6:00pm, at Lloyd Shoals in Jackson, GA with Dr. J. David Griffin and Dr. Ed Hoard officiating.

The family will meet with friends Saturday after the service at Cherry Log Christian Church.
