He was born in Giddings, Texas in 1970 and although living in the Washington DC area for 6 years during his youth, he always was a Texan at heart.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean Holt Ator; his parents Donald W. Ator, Sr. and Patsy Green Ator and a beloved baby brother.
It is difficult to take stock of his life in a few paragraphs as he loved life to the fullest with many passions including welding, fishing, college football, NASCAR, and music to name a few. One of his greatest loves was being “Uncle Monkey” to the children of family and close friends.
He worked for the past 15 years at Boettcher’s Enterprises in Lexington, Texas and considered the management and staff as family.
The Memorial Service will be held at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home 3950 E. Austin Street - Giddings, Texas 78942 on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM with inurnment to follow at the Giddings City Cemetery.
