Alberta was born August 30, 1931 in Urich, Missouri. Born and raised in Urich, Missouri later moving to Kansas City with her family: She graduated from Manual High School in Kansas City. She started working at Sears after high school and retired in 1986 after more than 36 years. She married the love of her life, Louie Wayne Sharp, in 1956. Together they enjoyed camping and taking trips on their motorcycle. Their trips together included pulling their fifth wheeler to see family and friends; and riding their motorcycle as far as all 4 U.S. boarders pulling a small trailer. After the death of her husband, Alberta continued to travel with family & friends seeing loved ones.

Alberta enjoyed a cruise at 75 years young with her son and daughter. Went to Hawaii with a niece and her family. But also driving by herself (thankful for On Star) to Alabama, Florida and Oklahoma to visit family. On other occasions she enjoyed trips with her seniors group to many places. She also enjoyed listening to Southern gospel including attending gospel sings with family & friends at Municipal Auditorium in days by gone. She also was as longtime member of the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana. And for many years sang with the Peery Street Church of God choir.

Thankful that she is resting in peace free of arthritis pain that she dealt with for more than 40 years. Her joyful laugh, sweet smile, and spunky personality will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Wayne Sharp. Her father and mother; Albert and Rebecca Doll, Brothers; Francis and Arthur Doll.

Survivors include daughter; Brenda Sharp of Independence, Son; Jerry Sharp of St. Louis, Sister; Roberta Atchley of Hulbert, Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews who all loved her so very much.
