The Class of 1912, Cornell University, made Jimmy Griffin an honorary member of their class.
Mr. Griffin was a bartender in Ithaca. He also worked as a bartender for The Campus Room, at the Cornell Club of New York City.
He was a member of the Eagles and the Neriton Hose and Chemical Co. No. 9.
He is survived by four sisters, Miss Katherine Griffin, Mrs. William Hibbler, and Mrs. L.W. Scout, all of Ithaca and Mrs. John Rice of Penn Yan; and by three brothers, Jerry and Dennis of Ithaca and P.J. Griffin of Groton.
Burial services will be held from the home and Church of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
