Andrew "Red" Authement Sr., 73, a native and resident of Grand Calliou, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Janice Robichaux and husband, Ricky; son, Andrew Authement Jr. and wife, Lynn; companion, Bernice Brown; sisters, Judy Labit and Helen Labit; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three stepchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Authement; parents, Edward and Ruth Authement Sr.; brother, Edward Authement Jr.; two great-grandchildren; and one stepdaughter.
